Ferrari is about to uncover an all-new model and took to social media to announce it. In a couple of Instagram posts, the Italian supercar-maker teased the upcoming model, stating that it will be presented in just a few hours.
“Prepare yourselves for a new chapter of pure elegance and beauty. La Nuova Dolce Vita (the new sweet life) will enchant you with all its charm”, the caption says. “Timeless elegance, beauty and high performance. We are ready for La Nuova Dolce Vita.”
Zoom in on the teaser image and you will see a reflection of the vehicle in the sunglasses, traveling at speed, with a two-tone black and grey paint finish.
So, what are we dealing with here? The urban surroundings might suggest that it’s not a track-focused model, but probably one that can be driven on a daily basis. We’d be tempted to say that it’s the production-ready Ferrari GT that we saw testing last month, as this would coincide with the invites sent to dealers dated November 13, although the public presentation was supposed to be on the 14th.
If this is indeed true, then expect it to be similar to the Portofino, albeit with a coupe body style and (likely) a 2+2 seating layout. It should utilize the same 3.9-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that churns out 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) and 760 Nm (561 lb-ft) of torque in the Portofino, rocketing it to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.5 seconds and up to 320 km/h (199 mph).
