Toyota Camry Goes All Dukes Of Hazzard, Jumps Row Of Cars At Dealership Before Crashing Into Others

A Toyota Camry driver unwittingly pulled off a stunt worthy of the Dukes of Hazzard as they jumped their car over two rows of parked vehicles.

The bizarre incident occurred yesterday afternoon at Crystal Ford Lincoln in Crystal River, Florida. As you can see in surveillance video, it appears to be a typical day at the dealership.

However, the situation quickly turned into something resembling a Hollywood blockbuster as the Camry flies over dozens of vehicles before sticking the landing. Things then take a turn for the worse as the car ends up hitting two vehicles before exiting out of view.

Citing the Citrus County Sheriff’s Office, Bay News 9 reports the driver was traveling on U.S. Route 19 when they started feeling dizzying. The driver eventually lost control of the Camry and exited the roadway at a high speed. The vehicle then stuck a berm or embankment which acted as a ramp.

This sent the car airborne and it reportedly traveled 139 feet (42 meters) before crashing to the ground at the dealership. No one at the dealer was hurt, but the driver of the car was reportedly hospitalized. Thankfully, they’re expected to be okay.

The dealership was reportedly packed with customers at the time of the crash and sales manager Bruce Azevedo told the station, “If the [Lincoln] Navigator wasn’t there, it probably would’ve went into the showroom.” He added, “This is something Evel Knievel would’ve planned [for] months and months to be able to do, and you don’t understand it.”
