Michael Fux Selling Bespoke McLaren 720S, Senna, 918 Spyder, And Others

Noted car collector and enthusiast Michael Fux is selling a number of his prized cars at the Mecum Auctions Kissimmee event in early January. Included among the cars being sold are a McLaren 720S, McLaren Senna, and a Porsche 918 Spyder.

Starting with the 720S, it is painted in a shade dubbed ‘Fux Fuchsia’ that was first developed by Rolls-Royce for the businessman and then redeveloped by McLaren Special Operations (MSO). The car was presented to the world during Monterey Car Week in 2017 and arguably remains the most eye-catching 720S produced to date.

It’s not just the exterior paint finish that makes Fux’s 720S special. Inside, it is bathed in pristine white leather and includes a handful of Fux Fuchsia accents.

Moving to the McLaren Senna, it is chassis number 2 of just 500 units produced and is finished with a green exposed carbon fiber. The process of making Fux’s Senna involved him spending $297,575 on the exposed carbon fiber body package offered for the track-focused supercar and then forking out an extra $86,930 to have Fux Green paint applied over the carbon and throughout parts of the interior. The car has just 203 miles (326 km) on the clock and is in as-new condition.

Last but not least we have Fux’s 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder. Just two 918s in the world are finished in Acid Green and this is one of them with the other residing in Australia. Fux’s car has only been driven 510 miles (820 km). It is number 43 of 918 examples produced.

A number of other cars from Fux’s collection will be auctioned off at the event. These include a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Ferrari 488 Spider, Ferrari F430 Spider, Porsche 911 R, BMW M5 First Edition, 2008 Mercedes-Benz CL65 AMG 40th Anniversary, and a 1936 Cadillac Series 70 Fleetwood Convertible Coupe.
