Stellantis Drops New 2024 RAM 1500 EV Teasers, Asks For Your Input At Revolution Website

The electric truck segment is a hotbed of activity right now, but Ram has so far had to watch as vehicles like the Ford F-150 Lightning, GMC Hummer, Chevrolet Silverado and Rivian R1T scoop up all the headlines.

We’re still waiting for the full details on Ram’s contender, the 1500 BEV, which may be called Revolution, but won’t be on sale until 2024. To keep us occupied while we wait the brand has slipped out a couple of teasers to help promote a new digital hub where fans and potential buyers can not only find out more information, but share their input as the electric pickup truck is being developed.

The two teaser images don’t show show the production version of the 1500 BEV, but preview a concept Ram says is being developed with customer input. But you can bet that some of the details will find their way onto the truck you’ll be able to buy in 2024. Ram also dropped a video called “Spark” which shows and tells us nothing whatsoever, but probably still pulled in a tidy profit for the creative agency responsible.

Located at RamRevoltuion.com, the new website promises unique content and even claims that users will be able to give their real-world input as Ram electric trucks are developed.

And to build even stronger bonds with potential customers, or at least helpfully distract them from buying one of the rival trucks that will be available more than two years before Ram finally gets its 1500 into showrooms, Ram is also launching the Ram Real Talk Tour. Representatives from the brand will be appear at various events over the course of the next year to engage with truck owners and find what the next generation of Ram trucks and vans must offer to meet their needs.

Though the BEV is still two years out we do know that it will ride on the STLA Frame platform, a body-on-frame architecture, and will be capable of accommodating battery packs between 159-200+ kWh for a range as big as 500 electric miles (800 km).

The RAM’s choice of electric motors will stretch from 201 hp (150 kW / 204 PS) to 443 hp (330 kW / 449 PS), meaning the heavy-hitting dual-motor all-wheel drive variants could be punching out as much as 885 hp (660 kW / 897 PS).
