Android 13 schedule: When will it launch?

TL;DR
That being said, this is our first taste of what the next version of Android will look like. As such, it might get you excited for the rest of the Android 13 schedule and when you can expect the stable version to launch.
Below, we’ve compiled all the info we have so far on the release schedule of Android 13.

Google supplied us with the loose Android 13 schedule you see above. All in all, it’s a significantly shorter timeline than what we saw for Android 12 last year. If all goes to plan, we should see at least two developer previews between now and the end of March. Then, we should see at least four beta launches between April and July. Assuming there are no major setbacks, the stable launch of Android 13 should land around August 2022.
For the sake of comparison, Android 12’s stable launch happened on October 19, 2021. However, the transition from Android 11 to Android 12 was significant. Considering it doesn’t appear the shift from Android 12 to Android 13 will be nearly as drastic, it’s very possible Google will move things along a lot faster this year.
