Android has a number of features that allow you to multitask effectively, such as split-screen multitasking and picture-in-picture (PiP) modes for videos. But there’s another nifty feature on the platform, called floating app windows.
We want to know whether you use floating app windows at all, so give us your answer via the poll below and leave a comment if you’d like to elaborate on your usage.
How often do you use floating app windows?

In case you didn’t know, floating app windows are windowed apps that don’t take up your full screen (check the picture above for a better idea). This allows you to interact with the rest of your phone while still using the floating app. Think of it like having a windowed program open in Windows.
Floating app windows can usually be activated via the recents menu, either by tapping an icon above the relevant app or holding on the desired app and choosing the correct icon.
We previously asked readers how often they used split-view multitasking, so we’re keen to see which solution is more popular.
