Your opportunity to own a truly unique piece of BMW history is here. Built to be shown off at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 2007, this 3-Series was modified by AC Schnitzer to feature the 5.0-liter V10 from the era’s BMW M5/M6 and can run on liquified petroleum gas.
Despite the do-gooder nature of the fuel (which produces 15 percent less CO2 than normal gas, though it can run on either), the engine is still capable of making 45 more horsepower than it did from the factory. That means an output of 544 hp (552 hp/406 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque.
The seller also mentions that although the AC Schnitzer GP3.10, as it’s known, was only ever rated as capable of achieving a top speed of 320 km/h (199 mph), in testing was capable of reaching 335 km/h (208 mph).

The engine isn’t the only modification, as you can tell. That minty green paint job adorns an aerodynamic kit, which includes air intakes up front, chrome ribs, and rear wheel arches with 60 mm extensions that add to the aggressive look on this 3-Series.
The interior, too, features extensive modification with a three-tone theme of brown, white, and beige. There are also modified dials, special pedal covers, and a leather-lined trunk. The car also has Aachen wheels with very low-profile tires and all kinds of other mods that, according to the eBay listing, are all in excellent conditions, which makes sense since it is being sold from the Oldtimer Museum in Germany. Though there may be some minor signs of age, it has no known flaws worth mentioning.

In era reports from than Carscoops estimated the value of the one-off special at €198,000 ($215,425 USD at current exchange rates) but it was apparently recently valued at €85,000 ($92,480 USD) and the buy-it-now price is just €69,980 ($76,138 USD). You can take a look at the lot on eBay.
