Evomax Will Create The Porsche 964 Restomod Of Your Dreams

Say hello to Evomax, a relatively new company that’s similar in philosophy to Singer and specializes in upgrading and modernizing Porsche 964 Turbo models.

The German company has been building its Max11, Max11 Turbo, and Max Classic models for quite some time and most recently launched its new Targa. All models have been absolutely transformed and show just what is possible with the 964-generation of 911.

The first model that Evomax launched was the Max11. It borrows its 3.8-liter naturally aspirated flat-six and six-speed transmission from a 997 911 Cup car, pumps out 460 hp at 7,500 rpm and revs all the way to 8,760 rpm. Evomax has also equipped the Max 11 with fully-adjustable coilovers and upgraded the brakes.

Then there is the body. The original 964 bodywoek has been replaced with a mixture of carbon fiber and Kevlar components that don’t just save weight but also improve safety. There is also a lightweight titanium exhaust system.

Evomax’s Max11 Turbo and Max Classic follow the same philosophy. However, the Max11 Turbo uses the 3.6-liter turbocharged flat-six of a 996-generation Turbo and is good for 620 hp at 6,500 rpm while revving through to 6,750 rpm. It is also sold exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission.

Meanwhile, the Max Classic is for the purist not chasing neck-snapping performance as the car’s 993 engine has been upgraded to 3.8-liters and delivers 330 hp at 6,500 rpm through a five-speed manual transmission. Both the Max11 Turbo and Max Classic also have carbon-kevlar bodies, titanium exhausts, upgraded brakes, and adjustable coilovers.

Last but not least is the Evomax Targa. Like the standard Max11, it too has a 997 Cup engine with 460 hp but customers can elect to have the 620 hp engine of the Max11 Turbo or the 330 hp mill of the Max Classic.

Each car built by Evomax also undergoes a series of significant interior upgrades with customers given free rein of how they want to customize the cabin.

It appears as though just 99 examples of each 911 model will be built; right now, pricing details are unclear.
