Ever wondered what would happen if you combined a 2014 Chevrolet Camaro SS with a classic Pontiac Trans Am? Well, wonder no more as this unique creation will soon be auctioned off by Mecum.

This Camaro was transformed by a company dubbed Trans Am Depot back in the day and is fittingly known as the Camaro SS Trans Am Hurst Edition. It is number 9 of just 15 examples produced and is one of the most intriguing Camaros that you’re ever likely to come across.

Extensive alterations have been made to the car’s bodywork so it looks more like a Trans Am than a Camaro. For example, the standard Chevy front fascia has been completely removed and replaced with a new bumper, split front grille, fog lights, and Trans Am-inspired headlights with orange ‘Angel Eye’ daytime running lights.

The Pontiac theme continues with a unique hood complete with the Trans Am’s iconic screaming chicken motif while the presence of a massive power bulge suggests that the muscle car means serious business.

The modifications continue along the sides of the car with striking silver and gold wheels wrapped in Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. Gold pinstripes also catch the eye while at the rear there is a unique bumper, a lip spoiler, and unique taillights, also similar to those of an original Trans Am. Making the car stand out even further are the removable carbon fiber T-top, the listing reveals.

Powering the Camaro is a 6.2-liter V8 that has been supplemented with a supercharger and churns out 650 hp. Working alongside this brute of an engine is a six-speed manual transmission powering the rear wheels.

Various interior changes have also been made, including the fitment of orange and black leather across the seats, dashboard, and door panels. There are also some nice carbon fiber accents throughout.
