Audi has just announced a new wave of updates and changes to just about every single product in the lineup. Most of the brand’s cars and SUVs will get more standard equipment as well as improved driver assistance technology too. Here’s a quick overview of what to expect from 2023 model year Audi products.
Starting off at the entry-level end, the A3 and S3 both get some nice upgrades after an all-new generation was introduced last year. Every single A3 regardless of trim will now come with full LED headlights and stitched door armrests. The S3 also adds a wireless charging pad as a part of the Convenience package. Both the S3 and the A3 can add adaptive cruise control as an ala carte option.
The small and sporty Audi TT gets just a single change. The Coupe and Roadster will now come with 18-inch 5-Y-design wheels as standard. The TTS remains the same as last year.

The A4, S4, A5, and S5 get a considerably large package of upgrades so we’ll touch on just a few. For instance, the A4 40 and 45 both get standard LED headlights now. The S4 will ship with 19-inch wheels instead of the 18s it had last year. Both the A4 and A5 family have access to an updated Black Optic Plus package that incorporates black rocker sills, a black rear lip spoiler, and black badging as well.
The bigger A6 and A7 models see smaller adjustments. The A6 gets more accessibility to driver assistance technology including the addition of adaptive cruise control to the Convenience package. That Convenience package tacks on adaptive cruise assist with lane guidance when equipped on the A7 and the S7 sees a new Sport stitching package added to the lineup. When selected, it will add black upholstery with red contrast stitching to the sedan.
Like the A3, A4, and A5, the Q3 SUV gets new standard LED headlights for 2023. It also sees the inclusion of a wireless charging pad with a signal booster in every trim level. New wheels are standard too. The Q3 40 gets a new 18-inch set while the Q3 45 gets 20s.
No other car sells for Audi like the Q5 and both it and its sportier SQ5 sibling get adaptive cruise control as standard equipment for 2023. Premium Plus trims add a B&O sound system and the Q5 55 gets unique OLED taillights.
The biggest changes in the SUV segment are among the Q7 and Q8. The former, in 45 TFSI guise, now features a revised four-cylinder engine with more grunt for a total of 261-horsepower. Leatherette stitching is standard on the dashboard across the range, and adaptive cruise is added to the optional convenience package.
The SQ7 adds dual-pane glass for better noise insulation as a part of the Executive package and later this year 22-inch wheels will also become available.
Finally, the Q8 also has that same Executive package available but will get Matrix-design LED headlights as standard equipment in addition to special coming and going animations in the headlight when locking and unlocking the vehicle.
2023 RS Q8 owners will get Fine Nappa leather upholstery and electric sun shades as standard equipment and have the chance to add remote park assist through the Executive package.
Audi’s e-tron electric vehicle lineup is getting some improvements too. The regular e-tron and e-tron Sportback will both get a black headliner as standard equipment for 2023. In addition, those who go for the Prestige trim level will get 22-inch wheels, orange brake calipers, and digital Matrix-design headlights on the Sportback model.
The e-tron GT gets the biggest exterior change of the bunch though with last year’s Hekla gray grille replaced by a body-colored grille. Inside the car, buyers will find a Bang & Olufsen sound system, as well as an integrated toll module as standard equipment. Those who go for the RS e-tron GT will get carbon atlas matte inlays and the option to add a ceramic brake package.
