Brabus Introduces Shadow 300 Edition One Power Boat With V8 Racing Engine

Brabus Marine introduced the new Shadow 300 Edition One powerboat this week in Port Calanova, Mallorca. The new model is designed to be as fast as it is luxurious.

Powered by a 4.6-liter Mercury 300R V8 racing engine, the 25-foot (7.6 m) boat is capable of reaching speeds of up to 50 knots (58 mph/93 km/h). Brabus claims, though, that the multifunction design means that the Shadow 300 Edition R is capable of more than just straight-line speed and is also agile and easy to handle.

It’s luxurious, as well, with striking red quilted upholstery, a carbon dashboard panel, and an optional carbon backrest. The forward cabin, meanwhile, gets some race car aesthetics thanks to the company’s use of fine leather and Alcantara, though we don’t know many track day specials big enough to fit a double bed, toilet, and freshwater system.

An optional sink and fridge can also be fitted for those who’d like to do some day trips in their boat. Or they may be preparing for a party since it also features a selectable RGB deck and underwater lights and an optional JL audio system and wireless phone chargers to set the mood.

A tech showcase for the brand, the Shadow 300 Edition One also features two NSXs, though perhaps not in the sense the readers of this site would hope. In this context, those are its multi-function Simrad displays that are 12-inches in size. The boat also features a Smart Chartplotter system that has powerful navigation features and custom software designed to make exploring your surroundings even easier.

The first entry in the Brabus Shadow 300 range, the Edition One will be showcased during the Axopar Customer Days in Port Calanova, Mallorca, from April 28 to May 1. There, visitors and online viewers will be invited to vote on one of two wrap options and the favorite will be put into production when that starts in the summer of 2022.
