Cupra is apparently into erotic Iron Man fan fiction as the company has released a truly bizarre teaser video.
While the clip starts off normally enough, it quickly gets kinky as it shows two people kissing before a ‘sexy robot’ walks down a fashion runway. It then displays the headlights of a vehicle traveling down a tree-lined backroad, before ending on a shirtless man apparently screaming.
Cars are largely absent from the video, but the clip was released to help promote the “next chapter” in the company’s story. The automaker is keeping details under wraps, but they’ll unveil an “unstoppable impulse” plan on June 7th that will include “new heroes” for a new era.

That isn’t much to go on, but the company will presumably use the event to reveal more details about future models. While that remains to be seen, Cupra has already teased an electrified crossover that will be launched in 2024. It will be offered with mild- and plug-in hybrid powertrains, with the latter giving the model an electric-only range of around 62 miles (100 km).
The A-segment crossover will measure approximately 177.2 inches (4.5 meters) long and embody the “essence of the Cupra brand.” It will be produced alongside the Audi Q3 Sportback in Hungary.
More recently, Volkswagen teased a trio of affordable EVs that will be built in Spain starting in 2025. The Cupra, Skoda and Volkswagen variants will have plenty in common, but each will feature a unique design. That’s clear from the teasers as the Cupra certainly looks like the sportiest of the bunch. Little is known about them, but we could learn more about the Cupra variant next month.
