Pagani’s New Huayra NC Is Its Latest One-Off Complete With 819 HP

Pagani will soon unveil its all-new hypercar but that doesn’t mean things are over for the Huayra. In fact, the Italian automaker has just revealed a new one-off variant of the Huayra dubbed the NC.

The owner of this distinctive Huayra elected to have the exterior finished in a combination of blue carbon fiber, traditional gloss carbon fiber, and various painted red and white parts. Most of the body panels are bathed in a gorgeous blue carbon, including the front quarter panels, the doors, the rear quarter panels, and most of the rear clamshell. As for the traditional shades of grey carbon fiber, they can be found across the hood, side skirts, rear fascia, and taillight shrouds.

It appears as though the Huayra NC is based around the Huayra BC Roadster and therefore benefits from the same unique engine cover complete with large buttresses behind the headrests. Unlike the standard BC Roadster, however, the NC also adopts a prominent roof scoop, very similar to the one found on the limited-run Huayra Imola.

The eye-catching blue, red, white, and carbon fiber finish continues into the interior of the Huayra NC. Large swathes of the cabin are clad in royal blue Alcantara, including the seats, headrests, and A-pillars. Other interior surfaces have black Alcantara with red contrast stitching, and there’s also a blue carbon fiber shift knob.

Powering the Huayra NC is the same AMG-sourced 6.0-liter twin-turbocharged V12 as all other road-going Huayra models, although it has been upgraded to deliver 819 hp and 796 lb-ft (1,079 Nm) of torque, compared to the 791 hp and 774 lb-ft (1,049 Nm) of a ‘normal’ BC Roadster. Coupled to this brute of an engine is a seven-speed sequential transmission powering the rear wheels that are wrapped in Pirelli Trofeo R tires.
