Does This Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake Have Any Chance Of Cracking The $1M Mark?

Does This Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake Have Any Chance Of Cracking The $1M Mark?

One of just 99 Aston Martin Vanquish Zagato Shooting Brake models has hit the used car market and is the type of vehicle that would stand out in even the most outlandish of car collections.

The exterior of the British supercar is finished in a shade known as Escaping White and sports a number of exposed carbon fiber elements, including the roof, front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser. It then sits on a set of 20-inch wheels with an intriguing black and gold spoke design and wrapped in Pirelli P Zero tires measuring 255/35 at the front and 305/30 at the rear. Complementing the gold on the wheels is gold trim on the front quarter panels and doors.

Found in the cabin is luscious Pure Black leather with ‘Z’ logos debossed on the headrests and seat inserts. A handful of Bronze Metallic trimmings is also found within, as is a Bang & Olufsen BeoSound audio system with Bluetooth and satellite radio.

Aston Martin built four variations of the Vanquish Zagato, consisting of the Coupe, Convertible, Speedster, and Shooting Brake. Just 99 examples of the Coupe, Convertible, and Shooting Brake variants were produced but the Speedster was the rarest of the lot, capped at just 28 units worldwide.

Powering all Vanquish Zagato models is Aston Martin’s familiar 5.9-liter naturally-aspirated V12 producing 580 hp and 465 lb-ft (630 Nm) of torque. This engine is coupled to an eight-speed automatic transmission powering the rear wheels and this example has covered just 631 miles (1,015 km) since leaving the factory.

For as rare and desirable as the car is, however, it is extraordinarily expensive. The original window sticker included in the listing reveals that this Zagato Shooting Brake was ordered with the $30,630 Villa d’Este Pack and a load of other options, bringing its price up to $919,776. Will it sell for that much on the used market? We’re not convinced.
