Bespoke Two-Tone Yellow Rolls-Royce Phantom Looks Like The World’s Most Luxurious Banana

Rolls-Royce’s extensive personalization services allow customers to spec every last detail on their car to their heart’s content. And while the result is often a gorgeous work of art on wheels, sometimes limitless customization options can lead to a less-than-gorgeous outcome.

Case in point is this Rolls-Royce Phantom Bespoke Pearl Edition listed for sale on Auto Leitner. It’s finished in a rather odd two-tone yellow and has 239 km (149 mi) on its odometer, despite being 14 years old, but even given that low mileage, we’re still not sure how many people would opt to buy it.

In fact, the last time it sold, which was only two months ago, it went for €86,500 ($87,810 at current exchange rates), which is quite low considering this is a limited-edition model with so few miles. To be precise, it’s about half as much as other 2008 Phantoms are going for, except those have over 100 times more miles. According to information from the previous seller’s listing, the car was supposedly on static display for most of its life.

Nevertheless, if you’re looking to make a statement, this is probably the Rolls-Royce for you, and there’s no doubting about the level of quality that went into the finishing process. Beyond the exterior, the cabin is finished in white with piano black trim, which is a bit more traditional. Providing the Phantom with its power is a 6.75-liter V12 making 453 hp (459 PS / 338 kW) and 531 lb-ft (720 Nm) of torque, which was an impressive figure when new and still healthy even by today’s standards.

There’s no price listed for this car, but if you can look past the odd exterior color, based on how much it sold for last time around, it could be your bargain ticket to Rolls-Royce ownership, and a limited-edition one no less.
