Stellantis Honors Paramedics With Second “Built To Serve” Ram 1500

Ram Trucks has unveiled the second “Built to Serve” limited edition model of its second wave, which honor the people who work as first-responders. The latest model celebrates Emergency Medical Service (EMS) workers.

“The Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS edition is our way of honoring and expressing deep gratitude to the frontline heroes who serve or have served our country,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram brand CEO – Stellantis. “At Ram, we are pleased to recognize the important work emergency medical service workers provide to their communities every day.”

Offered in two specially selected colors, Ram 1500 Built to Serve EMS edition buyers will be able to choose between Hydro Blue and Bright White exterior paint. It will also get an American flag and a “Built to Serve” decal on each of the rear quarter panels.

In addition, Ram has fitted the truck with an all-black grille and surround, black bumpers, a black-bezel premium lighting system, and 20-inch aluminum wheels with Technical Grey finish, which is unique to this model. The look is rounded out by body-color wheel flares, black badges, black wheel-to-wheel side steps, and dual four-inch exhaust tips that are finished in black.

Inside, the vehicle will also be finished in black. It will, however, get blue accent stitching, which was chosen specifically to celebrate the Emergency Medical Services as well as a Built to Serve instrument panel badge.

The front bolstered performance cloth and premium vinyl Sport seats, meanwhile, get Serve-embroidered Velcro panels, and similar Velcro panels on the inboard shoulder panels of each front seat to enable owners to display their first responder pride. Owners can apply their own patches (flags, name tapes, or slogans) to the panel to personalize their truck. The seats also get Pouch Attachment Ladder System/Modular Lightweight Load-bearing Equipment (PALS/MOLLE) webbing to attach additional equipment or pouches to them.

The Ram Built to Serve editions can be chosen on Big Horn/Lone Star Crew Cab models, fitted with either the 3.6-liter V6 or the 5.7-liter V8 powertrains.

The models will go into production at Stellantis’ Sterling Heights Assembly Plant in Michigan later this year. Sales will commence in the fourth quarter, with prices starting at $56,915 ($1,895 destination fee included).
