The Lexus LC lineup continues to improve with age as the company has announced a handful of updates for 2023.
Starting with the coupe, the LC embraces the new Lexus Driving Signature with a number of suspension enhancements. The company didn’t go into specifics, but noted “front and rear suspension settings have been optimized to enhance ground contact feel, linear steering response, and steering effectiveness in the high cornering G range.”
The Sport package has also been revamped as it now includes 21-inch forged wheels with a polished finish that contrasts with gloss black accents. However, the package is more notable for adding performance brake pads, a limited-slip differential, and Alcantara-trimmed seats.

The 2023 Lexus LC Convertible receives suspension enhancements that provide “nimbler … handling, and a sharper connection between driver and vehicle.” The model also gains a new lightweight soft top, but Lexus didn’t say much about it.
Both models also gain a new Cloudburst Gray paint color and feature a familiar 5.0-liter V8 engine that develops 471 hp (351 kW / 478 PS) and 398 lb-ft (539 Nm) of torque. It’s connected to a ten-speed automatic transmission, which enables the LC to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in as little as 4.4 seconds.
Coupe buyers can also get a hybridized powertrain that consists of a 3.5-liter V6, two electric motors, and a lightweight lithium-ion battery. This setup gives the car a combined output of 354 hp (264 kW / 359 PS) and a 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) time of 4.7 seconds.
The 2023 Lexus LC lineup will start arriving at U.S. dealerships in November and the coupe starts at $94,600 and rises to $100,600 for the hybrid variant. The convertible is offered exclusively with V8 power and it begins at $102,650.
