Here Are All The M Performance Parts For The 2023 BMW M2

BMW has taken the already dramatic design of the 2023 M2 and made it even more striking (or controversial, depending on your taste buds), with a new range of official M Performance Parts for the sports car.

The German brand’s offerings consist of upgrades for the aerodynamics, powertrain, chassis, and interior of the M2. Kicking things off are a variety of carbon fiber add-ons available, including a meaty front splitter and trim around the air intakes. Customers can also order the M2 with new carbon side skirt attachments, side spats, and exterior mirror caps.

At the rear, two spoiler options are available. The first takes the form of a carbon fiber lip spoiler while the second is a fixed wing. A roof-edge spoiler finished in high gloss black is also available, as is a carbon fiber rear diffuser. Rounding out the available exterior changes including an M Performance tow strap and an M Performance antenna cover finished in aramid.

A wild titanium exhaust system has also been developed for the 2023 BMW M2 and mimics the design of the M Performance Parts spoiler available on the new M3 and M4. The quad exhaust has an intriguing stacked design and sits in the center of the diffuser, consisting of stainless steel headers and an all-titanium silencer system. It also features electronically controlled flaps and the soundtrack can be adjusted using the powertrain settings.

Customers wanting to add some extra flair to the standard exhaust system can do so with titanium or carbon fiber tailpipe trims.

Further adding to the drama-tic looks of the M2 is the lowered ride height, achieved through the fitment of height-adjustable spring cups at the front and rear that lower the ride height by up to 10 mm. M Performance forged wheels are also available, measuring 20-inches at the front, 21-inches at the rear, and available in either M Frozen Gold Bronze or M Jet Black Matte.

Rounding out the updates are a number of special parts for the interior of the sports coupe. These start with a host of interior panels finished in carbon fiber and Alcantara, including new knee pads and an armrest, both finished in Alcantara. Other parts available in Alcantara include the M Sport seats and the Pro steering wheel. The less radical M Performance steering wheel is offered in carbon fiber/Alcantara and carbon fiber/leather configurations and can also be joined with carbon fiber paddle shifters. Other parts available include velour M Performance floor mats, M Performance door pins, and an M Performance fuel filler cap made from carbon fiber.
