This Stealthy Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Weissach Is Dream Garage Material

Porsche might be working on the new and fully electric successors of the Boxster and Cayman sportscars, but we still can’t get over the swan song of the current ICE-powered generation, the 718 Cayman GT4 RS. A stunning example of the latter was sold by Autowelt Schweiz AG in Zurich, Switzerland, featuring a total black configuration.

Since the debut of the 718 Cayman GT4 RS that took place exactly one year ago, we spent a lot of time in the official configurator, trying different color combinations for our dream car. However, the owner of this example went for something simpler, creating a timeless dark look. Some will find it similar to Porsche’s own camouflaged prototype, but others will definitely admire the stealthy looks.

Driven: The Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS. This Or A 911 GT3?

The mid-engined sportscar is painted in black, with matching 20-inch center-lock forged aluminum wheels and contrasting bright yellow brake calipers. It comes fitted with the Weissach Package which is a $13,250 option adding an exposed carbon-fiber finish on several components (trunk, mirrors, side intakes, and rear wing), plus a set of titanium tailpipes. The owner also opted for black GT4 RS logos on the profile and the tail.

The dark theme continues inside the cabin, interrupted by the yellow seatbelts, the steering wheel ribbon, and the door straps. There’s plenty of exposed carbon fiber, including the bucket seats, plus some Race-Tex upholstery on the dashboard courtesy of the Weissach Package. Special logos on the dashboard trim and embroidered on the headrests are the finishing touch.

Photos of the sportscar were published on the social media of Autowelt Schweiz AG last week, but we couldn’t find it on the official website’s inventory. This probably means that the GT4 RS didn’t stay in the dealership for long, and is likely already sitting in the garage of its new owner.

The 718 Cayman GT4 RS is the most extreme Cayman ever produced, and the last of the ICE-powered versions. It comes fitted with a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six producing 493 hp (368 kW / 500 PS), combined with redesigned aero and a track-focused chassis setup. All those features made it the fastest of its kind around Nürburgring-Nordschleife, with an impressive lap time of 7:04.511.
