If you’ve been one of the thousands of individuals eagerly awaiting the chance to order your very own Ford Bronco, we have good news. Order banks will reopen for new orders on March 27. The news comes not long after Ford made moves to speed up Bronco order fulfillment.

Company sources confirmed to Carscoops that Bronco retail order banks will reopen on March 27, 2023. FordAuthority also reported on the news. It’s the first time that new ordering will be available in a number of months. The last time order banks reopened at all was only for existing reservations and order holders.

Ford has struggled to keep up with demand for the Bronco. Constraints caused by the pandemic were only made worse by the chip shortage over the last few years. Thousands of Broncos have sat idle for weeks while Ford worked to source important parts to finish them. In other cases, shipping and delivery constraints slowed the rate at which buyers could get their Bronco.

2023 Ford Bronco Order Books To Reopen On March 27

Less than two weeks ago, Ford sent dealers a bulletin telling them that some Bronco reservation holders could get $2,500 if they’d be willing to switch their order to another Ford model. Ultimately, Ford blamed constrained commodities like its molded-in-color hardtop, the Sasquatch package, and the Lux package. 

It’s worth noting that there’s no word just yet on what options will be available when order banks reopen. For all we know, these constrained commodities could still be off the menu until Ford irons out these issues. At the same time, it might be that the blue oval limited them in recent weeks specifically so that it could be better prepared for the order bank reopening in March.

Regardless, it seems as though Ford is confident in its production volume and delivery schedule enough that it’s willing to reopen the order banks.
