It has been 12 long years since the Lamborghini Aventador was introduced and yet, the mid-engined supercar still looks fresh, modern, and most importantly, just as bold and over-the-top as any Lamborghini should be. We happen to think it is such a looker, particularly in the SV guise shown, that Lamborghini will have its work cut out for it in replacing it with a model that looks just as good.

This particular Lamborghini Aventador SV is finished in one of our favorite colors offered for the car, Blu Cepheus. All manner of bright colors look good on the Aventador, from reds to oranges, greens, and yellows, but a shade of blue like this really helps to accentuate the aggressive design and catch the eye.

As with many other examples of the Aventador SV, the painted body panels are accented by a front splitter and bumper section finished in matte black. The side skirts also have a black finish, as do certain elements of the rear fascia, including the strakes of the diffuser. Various carbon fiber parts are also featured, including the rear wing and the air intakes on the rear haunches.

The Lamborghini Aventador Is 12 Years Old But Still Looks Incredible

Contrasting the blue is an SV emblem painted in bright orange and joined by orange accents on the rear diffuser and orange brake calipers.

To ensure the Lamborghini turns just as many heads as the most expensive of current-day hypercars, the owner has had it equipped with a set of SV5-RS Ultralight Carbon Series wheels with satin black centers, orange hardware, and carbon fiber trimmings. They measure a massive 20×9.5 inches at the front and 21×13 inches at the rear.
