An NA-generation Mazda Miata dressed up to mimic the look of a Ferrari 250 GTO has appeared for sale on Cars & Bids and is without a doubt one of the most intriguing Miata models you’re ever likely to come across.
The listing notes that this is a 1992 right-hand drive model that was sold new in Japan, where it was badged the Eunos Roadster. It was imported into the United States in 2022 and has been fitted with a host of aftermarket parts.
The most obvious modification made to the car is the fitment of a Monocraft body kit that takes design inspiration from the Ferrari 250 GTO. This is particularly evident with the front end where there are round headlights just like the Ferrari, as well as a similar oval-shaped front grille, and round fog lights. It also features bulging front quarter panels and has a power dome and three air intakes on the hood.
Given that the dimensions of the Miata are quite different than a genuine 250 GTO, the side profile looks a little strange and the proportions are out of whack. Nevertheless, you may notice the round wing mirrors with a silver finish, the prominent buttresses, and the three horizontal slots behind the side windows. The rear end is just as intriguing as the sides thanks to the presence of standard Miata taillights but a distinctive fascia and bumper.
The Cars & Bids listing adds that the Mazda has also been equipped with a set of Tein coilovers, a Nardi steering wheel, aftermarket window switches and shift knob, aftermarket center console, a new headliner, and vinyl flooring.

The car is being sold with a U.S. title and has been driven approximately 47,000 miles (~75,000 km) since new.
