Mercedes will take the wraps off the updated GLC Coupe on Tuesday, March 14 and the GLB on Thursday, March 16

Mercedes took to social media to tease two vehicles that it will be unveiling this week. The 2024 GLC Coupe, it will reveal on Tuesday, March 14, while the 2024 GLB will be unveiled on Thursday, March 16.
With those announcements, it posted teaser photographs that, in the case of the GLC, reveal the updated model’s taillight design, which form a Nike-like swoop at either end of the rear. In addition, the SUV’s twin tailpipes and its coupe roofline can also be seen.
Those are likely to be the biggest departures from the standard GLC, though, as spy photographs have revealed, the interior will carry over almost entirely unchanged. That means a freestanding 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 11.9-inch infotainment screen, and familiar Mercedes design.

Similarly, as an expansion of the GLC line, the Coupe is expected to share engine options with the more traditional SUV. Buyers should expect turbocharged four-cylinder gas and diesel variants, as well as a trio of plug-in hybrid powertrains, the most powerful of which produces 376 hp (280 kW/381 PS).
That’s not where things top out, though, because the highest-performance version of the GLC Coupe is expected to come from AMG and will likely feature the same PHEV powertrain as the Mercedes-AMG C63 Performance. That means a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine and an electric motor that combine to put out 671 hp (500 kW/680 PS) and 553 lb-ft (750 Nm) of torque.

Mercedes was a little more careful as it teased the GLB, meanwhile, only showing the SUV from a distance. The majority of the vehicle’s external updates are expected to happen at the front, where the automaker is giving it a facelift, though new taillights have also been spied previously.
Inside, meanwhile, the GLB is likely to get the latest MBUX infotainment software, and the latest screen technology (which will mean no more touchpad for the SUV). As before, the vehicle is expected to be offered as a five or seven-seat vehicle.
Under the hood, Mercedes is expected to offer a familiar range of electrified powertrains, with only minor updates to make them more efficient and keep up with European emissions targets. A powerful GLB 35 from AMG has been spied testing, though, so there will be some fun in the updated lineup.
