Owners of supercars looking to sell their vehicles typically do so by either selling it to a dealer, one of the many auction houses, or at the very least, listing it privately on an established used car website like Autotrader. That’s not the case here.

What you’re looking at is a 2022 Lamborghini Countach LPI 800-4 and as you read in the title, it is currently up for sale on Craigslist, as noticed by Motor1. Assuming that the listing is legitimate, we suspect the seller will probably be flooded with messages of people wanting to pick up the mid-engined exotic for far less than it’s worth.

The listing offers very little details about this particular Countach LPI 800-4 and doesn’t even bother to mention what number of the 112 units built that it is. What we do know is that the car is located in Los Angeles and has been driven just 60 miles since rolling out the Lamborghini factory. It also has an eye-watering price tag of $3.8 million.

To put that price into perspective, the Countach LPI 800-4 started at $2.64 million when it went on sale in the United States so the seller is clearly trying to make off with a substantial profit. Will the car actually sell for the asking price? We’re unconvinced.

Making this Countach LPI 800-4 stand out from most of the others that we’ve seen is the bright yellow paint scheme. It also has the signature of Lamborghini chief executive Stephan Winkelmann under the hood.

Driving the new-age Countach is the same powertrain as the Sian FKP 37. That means it rocks a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 working alongside a hybrid system and a supercapacitor to deliver 803 hp through all four wheels. Combine this power with a potent launch control system and the car can hit 62 mph (100 km/h) in 2.8 seconds and a 220 mph (355 km/h) top speed.
