Apocalypse Manufacturing has made a name for itself creating some truly wild, out-of-this-world off-roaders with three axles and six wheels. However, for its latest project, it has done something a little different and built something with just four wheels. It is dubbed the Super Truck 4×4 and shares many similarities with the Juggernaut 6×6.

Believe it or not but the new Super Truck is actually based on a Ram 1500 and while it features a familiar powertrain, almost everything else about it is new. Whether or not you think that is a good thing will depend on what you think about the dramatic styling of the off-roader.

In creating the Super Truck, Apocalypse has fitted a host of new parts and panels. These changes start at the front end where there is a steel bumper and a massive grille with large vertical slats. The Ram’s standard headlights appear to have been retained but they appear much smaller due to the shrouds placed around them. A pair of tow hooks are also featured.

Then we get to the front and rear quarter panels. Gone are traditional pickup truck fenders and in their place are fenders that extend outwards and upwards, allowing for plenty of suspension travel. Indeed, Apocalypse claims the Super Truck can safely jump 10 feet off the ground if driven off a launch ramp. As you’d expect, new wheels and tires have been fitted, consisting of 22-inch SFJ wheels wrapped in 40-inch tires. The entire exterior of this example has an armored epoxy coating.

Under the skin, the Super Truck 4×4 is powered by a 6.2-liter supercharged Hellcat V8 that pumps out 850 hp. This power is sent to the pavement through a full-time four-wheel drive system and the company notes that the truck is equipped with five driving modes; Sport, Drag Race, Baja, Rock, and Mud. It has also been fitted with Dana 60 axles.
