Google makes exceptional phones, and the latest additions to its lineup, the Google Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, are the best yet. They’re so good in fact, that the latest generation of Pixel phones sits comfortably on our list of the best Android phones of 2024, and we don’t see that changing anytime soon thanks to their power, features and usability. They certainly perform well against other Android competitors with a higher sticker price, which makes these a great purchase for anyone in need of a new phone.
When the phones were released last fall, our reviewers liked their excellent screens, good overall cameras and long software support period. They also noted some new AI and camera features, as well as Google’s new Tensor G3 processor, which powers both models.
