There are plenty of great budget phones out there, but one of the best has to be the Google Pixel 8A. It’s overshadowed by Google’s current flagship options, but the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, which come with a host of new AI features, the Pixel 8A still packs in plenty of amazing features, and with a price tag as low as $499. You can get it even cheaper if you take advantage of one of the deals below.
Best Buy currently has $50 off the Google Pixel 8A and is running its usual trade-in deals, which means you can take a huge chunk off the cost of a Pixel 8A depending on what phone you hand over. Technically you could get up to $750 off if you trade in something like an iPhone 15 Max, although that’s an unlikely scenario. If you let Best Buy connect the phone to a carrier, you can save $100 and pay only $399 for a Pixel 8A.
Should you need more than one phone, you can currently get a Pixel 8A for half off with the purchase of a Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8 or Pixel Fold.
Target isn’t currently offering direct deals when you buy an unlocked Pixel 8A. You can use your Target Circle card to nab this phone for 5% off.
Verizon currently has an online-only offer where you can get the Pixel 8A for $5 a month if you commit to a 36-month contract on the Unlimited plan. This has to be for a new line, so keep that in mind.
T-Mobile is currently offering you the chance to get a Google Pixel 8A for free, but there are caveats.
Getting a free phone means buying the Pixel 8A on a monthly plan and then adding a new line. Most plans are included in the deal, and you’ll get the cost of the phone back in bill credits across the 24-month contract term.
You can also buy a Pixel 8A and then trade in an old device to get up to $500 off. All the heavy hitters are included, and any iPhone 11 or newer or Samsung Galaxy S9 or newer will get you the full $500 credit.
