Fortnite is introducing a limited-time game mode called Day of Doom on Sept. 17 that Epic Games says will pit 32 Marvel characters on two sides of a battle over game artifacts. Doom’s Henchmen will fight Allies of the Avengers in the new mode, which is part of Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 4 Doctor Doom events.
How to play Day of Doom
In the new mode, the Avengers team will try to stop Doom’s forces from collecting six Arcane Artifacts. Avengers will try to hold the line against respawning Henchmen until the reinforcements are depleted.

It’s likely that characters in the game will have some of their superhero weapons and special skills (Captain America’s shield, for instance) to make the gameplay interesting.

Accessing the mode once the 31.20 Fortnite patch is live just involves selecting the mode from the Fortnite Discover menu or searching for the mode as “Day of Doom.”
The big update is also expected to include a new Iron Man Mark-45 skin and a slew of Lego: Lost Isles themed game modes, skins, environments and even Lego Klombos.
