A purported email from a Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram dealership employee in Wisconsin suggests Stellantis fans have a lot to look forward too. This reportedly includes a new Ram 1500 TRX as well as the return of the 5.7-liter Hemi V8.

While everything should be taken with a grain of salt, the employee allegedly watched a ‘go to market’ meeting were officials revealed plans about an assortment of future products. Some details have already been confirmed, while most have not.

With that primer out of the way, the e-mail that was obtained by Sportsnaut claims officials confirmed the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 will once again be offered in the Ram 1500. The message goes on to suggest it will be joined by the 6.4-liter Hemi V8, which is already offered in the heavy duty variants.

Speaking of big V8s, the Ram 1500 TRX is allegedly “coming back with more power.” The e-mail doesn’t say what will reside under the hood, but the old model had a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 pumping out 702 hp (523 kW / 712 PS) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque. This enabled the truck to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 4.5 seconds, hit a top speed of 118 mph (190 km/h), and run the quarter mile in 12.9 seconds at 108 mph (174 km/h).

Aside from a focus on performance, Ram is reportedly preparing a new Night Edition as well as a Warlock trim for the 2500 and 3500 HD. This wouldn’t be too surprising as the 2024 Ram 1500 offered a blacked out Night Edition, while the Warlock trim has proven popular on the 1500.

On the topic of off-road variants, the 2500 Power Wagon might be offered with a new 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel inline-six that produces 430 hp (321 kW / 436 PS) and 1,075 lb-ft (1,456 Nm) of torque. This would be a notable change as customers are currently stuck with a 6.4-liter Hemi V8 developing 405 hp (302 kW / 411 PS) and 429 lb-ft (581 Nm) of torque. That’s a bit of a sore spot, especially considering the Chevrolet Silverado HD ZR2 offers gas and diesel options.

The rest of the product updates mentioned in the e-mail are far less interesting, as they mostly cover things we’ve already seen or heard. However, it claims Jeep will begin production of the redesigned Cherokee – or Cherokee successor – in October.

The e-mail also claims 2025 is the final year for the Durango and the Hornet will be getting a GLH variant. Dodge CEO Matt McAlear confirmed the latter earlier this year and suggested the performance-focused crossover would arrive in 2025.
