Over the past decade, we’ve been in a golden age for science fiction on TV. The episodic format has drawn streaming audiences into various immersive, high-concept programs. Amazon-owned streaming platform Prime Video has pumped out quality show after quality show, giving viewers everything a genre fan could want — from the satirical to the dystopian.
No matter what you’re in the mood for, it’s here. Want a postapocalyptic video game–inspired mutant adventure? Prime Video has it. How about Philip K. Dick’s thought-provoking depiction of a Hitler-ruled America? That’s here, too. Plus, there’s that peculiar Western starring Josh Brolin.
