  • The 2026 Corvette introduces Roswell Green and Blade Silver as new color options.
  • Chevrolet has also ditched Rapid Blue, which was included in the palette since 2020.
  • A revised interior that drops the buttons is expected to debut with the new model year.

Chevrolet isn’t letting the C8 Corvette get stale, and that is good news for anyone who thinks sports car should occasionally get a few more fireworks. Since its launch, the mid-engined Corvette has seen a steady flow of new variants like the E-Ray, Z06, and ZR1, along with regular updates to its color palette. Now, we learn that for the 2026MY, Chevy is adding two new paint options to the lineup while dropping two familiar choices from the 2025 model year.

The most flamboyant of the two is Roswell Green Metallic. It is just the second shade of green that’s been offered on the C8 Corvette after Cacti Green, which was only sold for the 2024 model year car. Roswell Green Metallic is much brighter than that and is fitting for a car like this, adding an even more exotic flair that could easily cause a C8 to be confused as a Lamborghini.

Interestingly, Roswell Green Metallic looks a lot like Minted Green, a color Chevrolet once hyped for a one-off Corvette Z06 it tried to sell through a crypto/NFT stunt back in 2022. That particular venture did not exactly pan out. The sale fell through, the NFT bubble burst, and the promised car was never actually built, as Corvette Blogger pointed out.

While Chevrolet is adding fresh flair to the C8 family, it is also cutting an old favorite. Rapid Blue Metallic, a mainstay option for every C8 model year so far, will disappear for 2026. Fans of the vibrant blue might want to act fast if they still want it fresh from the factory.

The second new addition to the 2026 color range is Blade Silver Metallic. This one is far more restrained, offering a classic silver that should look clean and timeless in real-world lighting. Blade Silver steps in to replace Sea Wolf Gray, which was available across both the 2024 and 2025 model years.

Of course, the Corvette story does not stop at a few new colors. Recent spy shots and leaks show that Chevrolet is giving the Corvette’s interior a serious refresh, possibly as part of the 2026 model year, though that has not been officially confirmed. One of the biggest changes is the removal of the much-debated “wall of buttons,” although official images have yet to be released.
