Premium German cars are notorious for their steep depreciation the moment they roll off the dealership lot, but every rule has its exceptions. Take this 2023 Porsche 911 Carrera T, for example. It actually appreciated in value, selling for nearly $2,000 more than its original MSRP, despite being two years old with about 9,000 miles (14,400 km) on the clock.

While the 911 Carrera T doesn’t come from Porsche’s famed GT division, it is undeniably one of the most driver-centric iterations of the brand’s legendary sports car. And with a starting price of $116,600 when new, it was a relatively solid deal for what you’re getting. Equipped with a seven-speed manual transmission, rear-wheel drive, and a limited-slip differential, the Carrera T promises unfiltered driving pleasure.

This particular 911 Carrera T recently traded hands on Cars & Bids for $133,000, edging out its original MSRP of $131,320 thanks to a handful of well-chosen upgrades. Among the highlights are the extended range fuel tank, adaptive sport seats, surround view camera system, Sport Chrono package, Lane Change Assist, and a front axle lift system. Bear in mind, the 2025 Porsche 911 Carrera T now starts at $138,700, making this lightly used example look like a savvy buy.

The car is painted in GT Silver Metallic and sits on the original black 20- and 21-inch wheels. The simple, inoffensive spec of the car is bound to have contributed to the strong resale value. There’s perhaps a little too much piano black plastic on the transmission tunnel, but beggars can’t be choosers, I suppose.

Under the hood, you’ll find a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged flat-six engine, delivering 379 horsepower and 331 lb-ft (449 Nm) of torque. This power propels the car from 0-60 mph (96 km/h) in just 4.3 seconds, with a top speed of 183 mph (295 km/h).

Sure, models like the GT3 and Turbo S have over 500 hp and 640 hp, but don’t be confused into thinking you need that amount of power to have fun in a Porsche 911. For street driving, the Carrera T is perhaps the best option. We’re sure the seller is over the moon with the result, as they have a loan on the vehicle that needs to be paid off before the title can be transferred.
