The Rogue is Nissan’s most popular vehicle in the United States, as customers snapped up 245,724 of them last year. That’s more than the Pathfinder, Armada, Murano, and Kicks combined.

We’re now starting to learn some info about the 2026 Rogue, which should be introduced in the coming weeks. The company is keeping a tight lid on details, but an insider told us the model will go into production next month and arrive at dealerships in August.

More notably, the 2026 Rogue will offer a new Dark Armor edition. Little is known about it, but it will be based on the SV trim and presumably embrace the blackout trend.

Speaking of the SV, it will gain a newly available Cold Weather package. It adds heated seats and a heated steering wheel. These features are currently offered on the $2,000 SV Premium Package. The 2026 Rogue SL, though, will apparently drop the $1,740 Premium Package. The $3,200 Technology Package is also said to be on the way out, which would be a shame as it includes ProPILOT Assist 2.1.

On the bright side, the Rogue Rock Creek is reportedly getting a price cut. There’s no word on numbers at the moment, but the 2025 model starts at $33,490, so let’s hope the reduction makes it even more appealing.

In the top-tier Rogue Platinum, things are getting a little more exclusive with an all-wheel-drive-only configuration on offer.

We can expect an official announcement in the coming weeks, but the 2026 Rogue should continue to be powered by a familiar 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine producing 201 hp (150 kW / 203 PS) and 225 lb-ft (305 Nm) of torque. It’s paired to an Xtronic transmission, which enables the crossover to return up to 30 mpg city, 37 mpg highway, and 33 mpg combined.
