Genesis caught our attention this week with its mid-engined Magma GT concept, presented alongside the production-bound 2027 GV60 Magma performance EV. The pair took center stage at a special event at France’s Circuit Paul Ricard, but they weren’t alone on the grid. Joining them was something rather unexpected, in the form of the G90 Wingback concept.
This newcomer takes the form of a wagon based on the G90 flagship sedan, effectively imagining what a BMW 7-Series Touring, Mercedes-Benz S-Class Estate, or Audi A8 Avant might be if such models existed.

While the idea alone is interesting enough on its own, Genesis couldn’t resist adding a few visual, performance and chassis tweaks from its Magma division to heighten the appeal.
The front end features a slimmer grille and aggressive bumper intakes with a diamond pattern. The side vents prove that the front fenders are wider that stock, covering the larger alloy wheels shod in performance tires.
As with most wagons, the highlight is the reworked roofline and rear section. This is defined by a ducktail spoiler perched above full-width LED taillights and topped off with a large roof spoiler. Completing the transformation is a rear diffuser with quad tailpipes.

Genesis has not released the specifications for the concept, but the stance is visibly lowered compared to the sedan. We also expect a more powerful engine under the hood.
Will It Enter Production?
The company hasn’t confirmed any production intentions, so we don’t know if the G90 Wingback will be offered for sale at some point in the future. The sexy wagon follows in the footsteps of the well-received G90 Coupe and Convertible concepts unveiled in April 2025, signaling the brand’s commitment to expanding its top-tier lineup.
