Exomod has just unveiled their latest, and perhaps most ambitious project yet. The company, best known for its reverse-restomods, where new cars are made to look like classics, has taken a modern Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak and made it look like a Dodge from the 1960s.
Named Prometheus, after the mythic figure who stole fire from the Greek gods, the car makes a dramatic first impression and backs it up with serious performance potential.

The body takes center stage here, built entirely from dark Kandy Apple Red-tinted carbon fiber. Up front, the standard Challenger face has been reworked with a custom nose where the headlights sit concealed behind a black mesh grille.
The tuner didn’t stop at the face. A custom hood, reworked door skins, reshaped pillars, and a distinct rear window all form part of the redesign. While exposed carbon fiber wasn’t exactly in fashion during the muscle car era, it works here, giving the classic shape a modern edge.
The look is rounded out with 20-inch Forgeline wheels and six-piston Brembo brakes, which hint at the firepower underneath.
What Did They Put Under There?
Underneath the vintage skin beats the heart of a proper modern monster. Since the starting point is a Hellcat Redeye Jailbreak, the Prometheus is already packing a 6.2-liter supercharged V8. But Exomod wanted more. So they called in Hennessey to bolt on the H1000 package, pushing output to 1,000 horsepower and 948 lb-ft of torque, which are supercar-worthy numbers.
There’s no word on how much the car weighs but we imagine that the new carbon fiber skin has helped Exomod shed some pounds over the standard model. Importantly, it’s been able to retain the original safety systems and all of the Dodge’s other technologies, like the reversing camera.
Much of the interior has been left untouched, although Exomod has retrimmed the seats in plush new brown leather with quilted stitching. There’s also new brown trim across the door panels with Old Gold contrasting stitching.
