When to watch the World Baseball Classic 2026
- The tournament runs from Thursday, March 5, to Tuesday, March 17.
Where to watch
- The World Baseball Classic 2026 will stream in the US on Fox Sports.
Providing a welcome precursor to the return of MLB action later this month, the sixth edition of the World Baseball Classic is underway, with 20 of the best national teams battling it out for global glory.
The tournament’s stars have so far lived up to expectations, with defending champs Japan breezing through Pool C to clinch a quarterfinal spot, while favorite Team USA has claimed one-sided wins over Brazil and Great Britain in its matches so far.
South Korea booked their spot in the quarterfinals for the first time since 2009 earlier today with an enthralling tiebreaker win over Australia at the Tokyo Dome, while Team USA faces a crunch match this evening against unbeaten Pool B rivals Mexico at Daikin Park in Houston at 7:00 p.m. ET/4:00 p.m. PT.

If you can’t view the tournament locally, you may need a different way to watch the World Baseball Classic 2026; this is where a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic. It’s also a great idea if you’re traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network and want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins.
With a VPN, you can virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our Editors’ Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this.
Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Australia, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you’re streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions.

Livestream the 2026 World Baseball Classic in the US
Fox Sports is set to show every game of the 2026 World Baseball Classic. Coverage will span Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 2, with free streaming service Tubi also showing six games.
Every Baseball Classic game, including those streaming on Tubi, will be available to stream on the Fox One App.
Fox’s new direct-to-consumer streaming service launched last year. Fox One costs $20 a month or $200 a year and gives you access to Fox’s complete TV portfolio, including sports-related channels such as Fox Sports, B1G, FS1, FS2 and local Fox stations.
Numerous other live TV streaming services carry Fox stations as well, namely YouTube TV, Hulu Plus Live TV and Fubo. They all cost far more than Sling, but they also carry a full complement of live channels. Check out our live TV streaming services guide for details.
Alongside linear Fox channels, movie and entertainment streaming platform Tubi will also be showing a select number of games for free. The 2026 World Baseball Classic is also available to stream for free in Cuba via Tele Rebelde and in Venezuela through Venevision.
Tubi offers nationwide and local news livestreams in addition to live sports, weather and entertainment channels. The streaming site’s TV selection offers some of the reality shows we’ve come to expect, such as Hell’s Kitchen and Dance Moms, plus oddball inclusions such as the Australian drama McLeod’s Daughters.
This ad-supported network doesn’t require an account, although signing up for one enables you to save favorites and resume playback if you switch between devices.
TNT Sports will be broadcasting action from this year’s World Baseball Classic live. You can access TNT Sports via Sky Q as a TV package, as well as the option of streaming online. It costs £31 either way and comes in a package that includes the Discovery Plus library of documentary content.
