With 705 HP on tap and a lowered stance, the Nitemare is the street F-150 Ford no longer builds itself

• Roush has introduced the 2026 Nitemare, which is based on the F-150.
• Latest version gets a new graphics package and some interior upgrades.
• Truck offers a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 developing over 705 horsepower.

Automakers have largely turned their backs on street trucks, but tuners are filling in the void. In the case of Roush Performance, they’ve introduced the 2026 Nitemare.

Based on the F-150 XL or XLT, the latest version of the truck is instantly recognizable as the only exterior change appears to be a new bedside graphic package. The company didn’t say much about the option, but we can see the truck sports “Nitemare” badging as well as a checkered flag motif.

That’s a minor change, but the Nitemare has an illuminated Roush-branded grille as well as a ventilated hood. They’re joined by a cat-back exhaust, an upgraded braking system with slotted rotors, and 22-inch gloss black wheels wrapped in General Tire G-MAX AS-07 rubber.

More notably, the truck has been equipped with a lowered suspension that features “performance coilovers, drop spindles, twin-tube dampers, progressive-rate springs, and an upgraded sway bar.” Thanks to these changes, the truck has an aggressive stance as the front end sits 3 inches (76 mm) lower, while the back drops 5 inches (127 mm).

The upgrades extend to the cabin as Roush focused on “elevating fit, finish and driver engagement” for 2026. As a result, the Nitemare now comes equipped with a fully carpeted interior, embroidered floor mats, and a leather steering wheel sporting red carbon fiber accents.

This is on top of the usual Raven Black leather seats, which have red accents as well as embroidered headrests. The model also comes equipped with aluminum pedals, a serialized badge, and an available carbon fiber trim package.

While the standard Nitemare is all show and no extra go, customers can get a supercharger for the 5.0-liter V8 engine. It enables the truck to produce over 705 hp (526 kW / 715 PS) and 635 lb-ft (860 Nm) of torque, which puts it pretty close to the 720 hp (537 kW / 730 PS) F-150 Raptor R.

The conversion adds $22,999 onto the price of the F-150, while the supercharger kit costs an additional $8,899.99.
