The Indian-spec Hyundai Venue gains a dark-themed Knight Edition.
The model is based on the second generation of the small SUV.
Starting at $10,400, it is half the price of the US-spec Venue.
Hyundai has launched a Knight Edition of the Venue in India, with the usual stealthy blacked-out aesthetics. However, the most intriguing part is the fact that this special edition is roughly half the price of the previous-gen Venue currently sold in the United States.
The SUV is based on the second-generation of the Venue that was introduced in India in late 2025. This brought boxier looks compared to its predecessor, with a sculpted bodywork, an upright nose, and modern LEDs. It is also taller and wider than the US-spec model, with a slightly longer wheelbase.
The Knight Edition is distinguished by the black finish on the grille, skid plates, roof rails, mirror caps, and 16-inch alloy wheels. It also gets matte black Hyundai emblems and red brake calipers for a touch of sportiness, although it misses out on the sharper bodykit of the Venue N Line.
The full black treatment continues inside the cabin with exclusive leatherette upholstery for the seats. However, Hyundai designers added a few Brass Colored inserts on the dashboard and the steering wheel to break the monotony.
The Knight Edition is available across multiple trim levels. The dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays of the second-gen Venue make the 8-inch touchscreen of the American equivalent look seriously outdated. Other available features include a 360-degree camera, a dashcam, a sunroof, reclining rear seats, rear sunshades, and an eight-speaker Bose premium sound system.
Under the hood, buyers choose from three non-electrified powertrains. The base naturally aspirated 1.2-liter gasoline engine produces 82 hp, the turbo 1.0-liter gasoline bumps the power to 118 hp, and the 1.5-liter diesel generates 114 hp. For comparison, the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine of the US-spec Venue is good for 121 hp.
Half-Price Deal
The 2026 Hyundai Venue Knight Edition is available to order in India starting at ₹9.70 lakh ($10,400). This is roughly half the $20,550 starting price of the Venue in the US market which remains stuck in the first generation.
Even the flagship trim of the Knight Edition is priced at ₹14.79 lakh ($15,840). As for the most expensive variant of the Venue in India, the title goes to the sporty N Line, which is priced at ₹15.48 lakh ($16,500).
