A new Star Wars show is heading to Disney Plus this month, but we haven’t had an idea of release timings — until now. Obi-Wan Kenobi is scheduled to arrive on May 27, and it might be followed by Andor, if Variety’s report is anything to go by.
Andor, starring Diego Luna as his character from 2016’s Rogue One, could arrive by late summer, meaning late August or early September. No substantial news on Ashoka or The Acolyte, but the third season of The Mandalorian is reportedly looking at a late 2022 or early 2023 window.
Obi-Wan Kenobi, starring Ewan McGregor, kept us on our toes with its release date. Originally scheduled to arrive on May 25 on Disney Plus, it was pushed back two days, to Friday, May 27. A possible explanation: The May 27 release lines up with the second day of the Star Wars Celebration Anaheim convention.
