Harry Gration joined the BBC in 1978 and BBC Look North (Yorkshire) in 1982.
He presented the programme until his last show in 2020 where he thanked all the viewers and staff he had worked with.
He was loved by all his colleagues and his wife, Helen Gration, said: “He will forever be with us”.
