This Showtime historical drama follows the life of the young King Henry VIII, who grapples with the political intricacies of the English court and of the world of romance. This show like House of the Dragon is a lavish, prestige drama that charts some of the real-world historical politics that inspire the world of Game of Thrones.

Following a decline in health, media tycoon Logan Roy has to decide if he should step down, and if so, who should be his successor. His three youngest kids (and a host of others) think the CEO title is theirs for the taking, but the elder Roy isn’t quite done pulling the strings yet.
