The Las Vegas Aces are now two wins away from the WNBA championship. The top-seeded Aces beat the Connecticut Sun Sunday night on strong performances by Chelsea Gray and A’ja Wilson, the 2022 league MVP. The Aces are closing in on their first title in franchise history.
Meanwhile, 2021 WNBA MVP Jonquel Jones and the Sun are hoping to battle back and tie the series. The Sun is in the WNBA Finals for the fourth time and hoping to win its first championship. To do that, it’ll need to figure out a way to overcome the powerful offense of the Aces.
Game 2 of the WNBA Finals will air tonight at 9 p.m. ET (6 p.m. PT) on ESPN.
