Xbox Cloud Games Now Run on Windows on ARM Devices – CNET

Xbox cloud gaming is now available on Windows PCs running ARM64, Microsoft announced in a blog post Wednesday

Microsoft made the announcement in concert with the debut of its new Surface lineup, which also came out Wednesday. Thanks to the newly updated Xbox app, Xbox cloud gaming will now run natively from Windows devices that are ARM-powered, such as the Surface Pro X.

However, as reported earlier by The Verge, there still aren’t a huge number of Windows games that were developed for ARM. Still, you can now stream hundreds of games using Xbox Game Pass “across a range of devices from the cloud, including Android phones and tablets, iOS devices, select smart TVs, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S” and more, according to the Xbox blog post.

The Beta version of cloud gaming launched on Xbox two years ago. Xbox cloud gaming is now available in 28 countries on five continents, the blog post said.
