BERLIN, Tuesday — According to a semi-official statement published here, the last five German prisoners of war, interned at Toulon, have been released by the French Government, an act of humanity for which the whole German nation is said to be grateful.
The statement adds that the detention of these men has been irritating German opinion to the prejudice of relations between the two countries.
