Not everyone needs to drop serious cash on a pricey, high-end laptop. If you mostly use your computer for streaming, browsing and light web-based work, then chances are you don’t need more than a Chromebook. These simple, user-friendly devices are already some of the most affordable laptops out there, and right now you can snag one for even less. Woot currently has a selection of refurbished Chromebooks on sale, with prices starting at just $50.
According to Woot, all refurbished models may show some wear and tear, but have been inspected and restored to full working condition. Plus, all the models at this sale come covered by Woot’s 90-day limited warranty, so you’re covered in case you run into any issues in the first three months. There are a few models on sale for as little as $50, like this HP 11 G5 Chromebook, which features an 11.6-inch HD display, 4GB of RAM, 16GB of storage and a built-in webcam. Or, for $20 more, you can upgrade to this Acer R11 Chromebook, which has similar specs, but is equipped with a touchscreen display for easy navigation.
However, it has to be noted that all of these models are past their auto update expiration date. That means that, while they’ll still function, they will no longer receive software updates or support. And while this sale runs through April 3, there’s a limited supply available and some models have already sold out.
