If you’re looking to switch to a new carrier or just need a second SIM for work, Tello is now offering you the chance to add some discounted data to your new phone plan.
Tello will sell you 2GB of data for $10 and 5GB of data for $15, with both prices applying to the first month of your new line. Note that the discount is part of the company’s Halloween festivities (“BOO-st your savings” — nice) so it’s only valid until Oct. 31.
This data deal is available for new customers taking out new lines and applies to its unlimited talk and text plans. There’s no contract and no additional fees. You can also upgrade and downgrade any time for free, and Tello includes free tethering and Wi-Fi calling as well. There’s even free international calling to more than 60 countries for those with friends and family members overseas.
Alongside that imminent end date for this deal, do note that this discount price is only for your first month of use. After that, the price goes back up to $14 per month for 2GB of data and $19 per month for 5GB.
Tello can either send you a SIM card out or you can choose to set your new plan up using an eSIM on compatible phones, but no matter which route you take you’ll connect to T-Mobile’s network.
