Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Deals: Free Storage Upgrades and $750 of Trade-In Credits – CNET

Apple’s iPads aren’t the only high-end tablets on the market, and if you’re looking for something that’s not in the Apple ecosystem, Samsung’s Galaxy Tab S9 is the one to go for. Not only can it compete with the best iPads out there, but you also have a few great options if you want to customize it a little bit, depending on your budget.

That said, much like with Apple’s high-end stuff, bargains can be hard to come by. Still, you can get trade-in credit, and there are free storage upgrades that will show up as $120 discounts.

Samsung is offering a few ways to save on its new Galaxy S9 tablets. There is a free storage upgrade on all three models, which means you’ll get the 256GB model of the S9, or the 512GB model of the S9 Plus and S9 Ultra, for the same price as the basic configuration. That saves you $120. If you need even more storage, you can save $150 on the 1TB model of the S9 Ultra as well.

You can save even more if you’ve got an old device to trade in. Tablets from Apple and Samsung will net you enhanced trade-in credit worth up to $700, but you can also trade in old phones or smartwatches for a smaller discount. Samsung even accepts select tablets in damaged condition, so you may be surprised what your cracked iPad is worth.

You’ll also get a few bonuses with the purchase, including six free months of Microsoft 365 Basic, four months of YouTube Premium and two months of Adobe Lightroom if you’re a new subscriber. You can also save $190 on a Galaxy Watch 6 and $180 on a pair of Galaxy Buds 2 Pro when bundled with this purchase.

Like Samsung, Amazon is offering a free storage upgrade on S9 tablets, though it only has the basic S9 and the S9 Plus available. This deal knocks $120 off the 256GB Tab S9 and the 512GB Tab S9 Plus, which means you’re essentially getting double the storage for free.

Best Buy is another retailer that has matched Samsung’s Tab S9 deals by offering a free storage upgrade on all three models, knocking $120 off the largest storage sizes. Plus, you can save up to $350 with an eligible trade-in, which includes tablets from Samsung, Apple, Amazon and more.

B&H Photo isn’t offering any trade-in discounts, but you can get a free storage upgrade on the Tab S9 and S9 Plus, which saves you $120. Like Amazon, this retailer isn’t carrying any configurations of the high-end Tab S9 Ultra.
