Best Gaming PC Deals: Big Savings on Dell, Lenovo, Thermaltake and More – CNET

Building your own gaming PC requires a lot of technical knowledge and time, which is why pre-built PCs are an excellent choice that can help save you a lot of hassle. Luckily, there are a lot of excellent pre-built gaming PCs you can grab, and the price between making them yourself and buying them pre-made has become smaller and smaller. As such, we’ve gone out and grabbed some of our favorite PCs at various price points.

HP/CNET

For a more affordable but still top-rated gaming desktop, the HP Omen includes an Intel Core i3-13100F processor, a great entry-level processor that supports gaming, music and video play. The graphics include the fairly common Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super for fast display. The Omen 25L also has 512GB storage capacity plus 8GB of DDR5 RAM, which is upgradable to 128GB. Includes a wired mouse and wired keyboard.

Skytech

The Shiva 2 is a solid option that’s solidly in the entry-level gaming PC, with an RTX 3050 and an Intel Core i5-12400F processor under the hood. That’s actually a pretty great combination for the $850 price, especially since you also get 16GB RAM and 500GB of storage. As such, this is probably one of the best deals on the list if you want something entry-level.

Lenovo

If you’re looking for a great mid-range gaming PC, the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i is a great choice. The RTX 3060 is a solid 1080p card for gaming at higher framerates. You also get the excellent Intel Core i7-13700F, which is a mid-to-high-end CPU, and the 16GB of RAM is DDR5, the latest and fastest on the market. The only small downside is the 512GB of storage, which isn’t much considering how big games are these days, but you could always upgrade the size somewhere down the line.

You also get three months of Xbox Game Pass for free with purchase.

CLX

By spending a little bit extra, you can secure yourself a budget GPU in the form of an RTX 4070, which is more powerful than the 30-series equivalent and gives you access to DLSS. It also comes with the Intel 13th Generation Core i9 processor and 64GB of RAM. There’s also a lot more storage here, up to 3TB.

CyberPowerPC

One thing that sets this CyberPowerPC configuration apart is that it provides you with a whopping 32GB of RAM, making it perfect for those who want to do programming or CAD work. You also get an impressive 2TB of storage. That said, the RTX 4060 Ti isn’t much better than the RTX 4060, although the Intel Core i7-13700KF is a solid mid-to-high-end CPU perfect for productivity and editing work.

ABS/CNET

You can save $200 at Newegg on this ABS system that pairs a Core i7-13700F CPU with RTX 4070 graphics. It also supplies 16GB of RAM, a 1TB SSD and a 700-watt PSU. When you consider that most RTX 4070-based gaming PCs cost more than $2,000, this discounted ABS Stratos Aqua machine is a great deal.

Thermaltake

The RTX 4070Ti is somewhat better than the RTX 4070, and worth grabbing if there’s only a small difference in price. It comes with a mid-to-high-end Intel Core i7-12700F processor that’s perfectly paired with the RTX 4070 Ti. You also get an impressive 32GB of RAM that’s good for programming and CAD work, and the 1TB of storage isn’t too bad either.

Alienware

This futuristic Alienware PC features an RTX 4080 GPU with 16GB of dedicated memory, which will get you very close to some great 4K gaming performance. It also has 1000 GB of storage space. Also, if you haven’t noticed, the case looks incredible, and that alone is worth a couple of hundred in price. The savings aren’t dramatic on this one, but you get a lot for what you pay for and if you’re looking for a high-end PC then saving $500 is better than full price.
