Best Gaming PC Deals: Save Over $500 on Top Brands Including HP, Lenovo and More – CNET

Pre-built PCs are an excellent choice for gaming as it can help save you a lot of hassle and time. There are many great pre-built gaming PCs options that you can grab, and the price between making them yourself and buying them pre-made has become smaller and smaller. We’ve gone out and grabbed some of our favorite PCs at various price points.

HP/CNET

For a more affordable but still top-rated gaming desktop, the HP Omen includes an AMD Ryzen processor, a great processor that supports gaming, music and video play. The graphics include the fairly common Nvidia GeForce GTX 3050 for fast display. 

Lenovo

If you’re looking for a great mid-range gaming PC, the Lenovo Legion Tower 5i is a great choice. The RTX 3060 is a solid 1080p card for gaming at higher framerates. You also get the excellent Intel Core i7-13700F, which is a mid-to-high-end CPU, and the 16GB of RAM is DDR5, the latest and fastest on the market. The only small downside is the 512GB of storage, which isn’t much considering how big games are these days, but you could always upgrade the size somewhere down the line.

You also get three months of Xbox Game Pass for free with purchase. 

CLX

This gaming desktop uses AMD Radeon graphics, a great entry level option. It also comes with the AMD Ryzen 7 5000 series processor and 16GB of RAM. There’s is also a standard amount of total storage, 1TB. 

CyberPowerPC

One thing that sets this CyberPowerPC configuration apart is that it provides you with a whopping 32GB of RAM, making it perfect for those who want to do programming or CAD work. You also get an impressive 2TB of storage. That said, the RTX 4060 Ti isn’t much better than the RTX 4060, although the Intel Core i7-13700KF is a solid mid-to-high-end CPU perfect for productivity and editing work.

Thermaltake

The RTX 4070Ti is somewhat better than the RTX 4070, and worth grabbing if there’s only a small difference in price. It comes with a mid-to-high-end Intel Core i7-12700F processor that’s perfectly paired with the RTX 4070 Ti. You also get an impressive 32GB of RAM that’s good for programming and CAD work, and the 1TB of storage isn’t too bad either.

Alienware

This futuristic Alienware PC features an RTX 4080 GPU with 16GB of dedicated memory, which will get you very close to some great 4K gaming performance. It also has 1000 GB of storage space. Also, if you haven’t noticed, the case looks incredible, and that alone is worth a couple of hundred in price. The savings aren’t dramatic on this one, but you get a lot for what you pay for and if you’re looking for a high-end PC then saving $500 is better than full price.
