Having access to texts, phone calls and a fitness tracker all on your wrist is a huge convenience, but one that doesn’t exactly come free. Apple makes some of the best smartwatches available, yet finding a deal can be tricky. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 is the latest model of the best Apple Watch in the lineup, and there are some small but notable deals if you know where to look. The earlier model Ultra is harder to find, as many outlets and carriers are no longer carrying it. But those that do often have discounts available.
Amazon has limited stock and modest discounts, but you can find a few size and color variants of Apple Watch Ultra 2 for $20 less at $779. Prices fluctuate quite a bit on Amazon, but there is one model with an orange band that dipped to $720, which will save you $79.
Trade in your old Apple Watch at Apple for up to $365 off your Apple Watch Ultra 2. And pay with your Apple Card for financing options and 3% cash back.
Right now Best Buy is not offering a direct discount on the Apple Watch Ultra 2. But you can use Best Buy’s trade-in program to save as much as $275 off the Apple Watch Ultra 2. You can also trade in other similar devices, such as Garmin, Fitbit or Samsung smartwatches, though previous-gen Apple Watch models will score the biggest savings.
Best Buy is throwing in three months of free Apple TV Plus, iCloud and Apple Music, as well as four months of Apple Arcade and Apple Fitness with any purchase. In addition you can get access to one free month pass to MLS.
Buy two Apple Watch models and get $300 off at AT&T, no trade-in required. At least one new line is required and a qualifying installment plan is needed for both cellular devices. The $300 discount will be provided via bill credits.
Trade in your old smartwatch at Verizon for as much as $180 off an Apple Watch Ultra 2. An eligible service plan is required and you’ll see the trade-in credit applied over 36 months as bill credits.
If you choose to combine a watch purchase with a new phone, you can get up to $120 back in promo bill credits.
Target has the Apple Watch Ultra listed at full price, Target Circle members will get three free months of Apple Fitness Plus with purchase. Target RedCard holders can also save 5% on the purchase, which is good for $40 off.
While the savings aren’t dramatic, Walmart does have a couple variants of the Ultra 2 for $10 less than the regular price, bringing the price down to $789.
Target doesn’t have too much in the way of discounts, but right now if you go for the small 49mm with an orange band, it’s discounted by $50, bringing the total down to $649.
